Movement

The Movement classes are creative flows that are different in every class. We start with a gradual warm up session, either based on yoga or mobility. Then we move on to creating free-form movement leveraging inspirations from all types of movements like animal locomotion, modern contemporary dance, light acrobatics, capoeira, etc. We wrap it up with some slow stretches and eventually a relaxing Shavasana. The movement classes mobilises your joints and muscles, improves coordination, builds body awareness and in general makes you a good mover.

Who is this for? Our Movement classes are focused on people who wants to start movement exploration. However, if this is your first contact with such classes, we recommend starting with 2-3 Movement Basics classes. This will help build the key foundations and techniques and help you progress quicker.

Movement Basics

The Movement Basic classes focus on building your foundation for movement sequences. We break down key moves into small parts, focus on the technique and learn in a slow and safe pace. You will be introduced to shoulder rolls, fisherman’s roll, sliding techniques, animal moves, Budokon yoga, etc.

Who is this for? The Movement Basics classes are designed for those who has no prior experience with movement and are willing to start their exploration. We recommend attending 2-3 of these classes before progressing to the regular Movement classes.
